Manually uninstalling

If you have installed pSysmon using the setup.py script you can't use pip to uninstall pSysmon. Using pip would just remove the egg-info file. The pSysmon source folder and other scripts or data files won't be deleted by pip.

To uninstall pSysmon manually, delete the psysmon directory and the psysmon egg file which are both located in the site-packages (or the dist-packages) directory of your python installation. Additionally, delete the file psysmon.py located in your bin directory.

It depends on your linux distribution where the site-packages or dist-packages folder is located (e.g. Mint Linux: /usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages).

If you are using a virtual environment as described in Setting up a virtual environment, than the psysmon files are installen in VIRTUALENV_DIR/lib/python2.7/site-packages.
